Two feminine elements representing the energy underlying the taranta, a popular fable that eventually breaks into contemporary times and fascinates the new generations. Two guitars enriching with new motives then southern music, made up of simple, enchanting, irresistible chords.
All this connected to the journey of creativity leading to out current culture: Southern question, old migrations to America, new migrations from all the “souths” of the world.

Eugenio’s voice means once again peace, sharing, respect and brotherhood, as it has always done.

Eugenio has founded in the ’70s NCCP-Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare, and in 1976 Musicanova. In the ’90s he has started taranta power project, a movement introducing italian folk music to world music.
Eugenio has brought his music to stages and prestigious venues around the world … not least During 2018 the African tour takes off: Tangeri, Tunis, Rabat, il Cairo, Algiers, Orano.

He took part in 7sois7luas in Portugal and, due to his commitment to promote international dialogue, he was invited to European parliament in Brussels for human right  international day.
