Pe5t Solo Diabaté is a mul5-instrumentalist and singer that masters the Balafon, Kora and Ngoni and percussions. You can also hear him play on mr. Toumani Diabaté `s (RIP) last album “Family & Friends”.

Jaqee Nakiri is a powerful live performer, a 2- 5me Swedish Grammy nominee, and an independ music award winner. She is also an ar5st whose reggae flavored Album (Kokoogirl/ Land of the free) won reggae album of the year awards in France.

Diabaté (Burkina Faso) and Nakiri (Uganda) met back in 2012 and connected through a few live collabora5ons in Berlin, (Germany). A[er spending years apart both focusing on their separate individual projects, they decided that 2024 is the year of the genesis of Nakiri/DIabaté as a duo. “So now we are in in the final stages of preparing our Debut Album that will be released in 2025.”

This new setup opens up an exci5ng new soundscape that pays a strict and powerful homage to its African ancestry, but also looks into the future. Expect topics focusing on Human rights, Social Jus5ce, the beauty of cultures and diversity, Women and Children rights etc.
